Dog car restraint in Pastel Pink, 25 mm

A car restraint that clicks straight into the car's seat belt buckle, just like your own seat belt. This one is sewn in Pastel Pink waterproof webbing, 25 mm wide, with silver rivets and an aluminium Silver Pro clip. The screw lock does not undo itself, even when your dog turns around fifteen times on the rear seat.

The restraint has hung in our Ålesund showroom. It is new and has never been fitted in a car. As there is only one, it leaves the shop as soon as someone adds it to their basket.

How to use it

The metal end goes into the seat belt buckle where the dog will sit. Attach the clip to your dog's own car safety equipment. Adjust the length with the buckle so your dog can sit and lie down without getting between the front seats.

Never attach the restraint to a collar. During sudden braking, all the force would go straight into your dog's neck, which no neck can withstand.

Why use waterproof webbing in the car?

A wet dog on the rear seat is normal for much of the year here in Sunnmøre. Waterproof webbing does not absorb water, so the restraint does not become clammy or start smelling of dog after a few trips to Borgundfjorden. A cloth and ten seconds are all it takes to have it ready for the next drive.

Does the restraint fit every car?

Yes. The metal tongue has standard dimensions and fits the seat belt buckles in ordinary passenger cars.

Can it be used as a lead for walks?

No, it is made for the car. Use a regular dog lead for walks.

How does a Pro clip differ from an ordinary clip?

Pro is an aluminium screw-lock clip with a bayonet lock. It does not open accidentally and handles more than a regular trigger snap. We recommend it for large dogs and car use.
