Hands-free lead in grey, 1.9 metres
This lead has hung in our Ålesund showroom and has never accompanied a dog into western Norway's rain. Grey waterproof webbing with a honeycomb pattern, 25 mm wide and 1.9 metres long. Short enough for control along the road, long enough to let your dog finish sniffing what they find.
With a clip at both ends and two matte black metal D-rings, you can change how you use it along the way. Attach one clip to the D-ring by the handle, and the lead goes around your waist or over your shoulder while your hands stay free. Unclip it again and you have a regular dog lead with a handle. Stopping at a shop? The lead can go around a post and clip back onto itself.

Who is 25 mm suitable for?
25 mm is the widest webbing we sew, made for large, strong dogs from around 35 kg. The width spreads pressure across your hand rather than digging in when your dog takes off after a cat. For a small or medium-sized dog, 16 mm is a better choice; we make that to order as a hands-free lead.
Waterproof webbing handles a Norwegian autumn
The material does not absorb water. The lead weighs the same wet or dry, does not smell musty after a week of rain, and seawater and mud rinse off under the tap. Wipe it with a cloth, hang it up and you are done.
One item, ready to dispatch
Everything in the outlet is new stock that has been displayed in our showroom, taken to an exhibition or photographed. There is one of each, and once it is bought, it is gone. The next lead of the same length must be sewn to order, taking 1–4 days before dispatch. This one is finished and can be sent straight away.
Is this a used dog lead?
No. We sewed it in Ålesund and it has never been on a walk with a dog. The only difference from a made-to-order lead is that the colour and length have already been chosen.
Can the clip be changed to Pro?
The clip is riveted to this item. Choose an aluminium screw-lock clip in the Hands-free Lead configurator.
How do I clean the lead?
Lukewarm water and a cloth. No washing machine or tumble dryer. The hardware handles seawater, but a rinse after a day on the coastal rocks is welcome.
