Adjustable lead and training line, 3.6 metres

One line for recall in the field and the walk home along the road. 3.6 metres of grey waterproof webbing, 25 mm wide, with a Pastel Lavender handle, straps and end pieces. The hardware is matte black, with a black Pro screw-lock clip at each end.

Two clips and D-rings let you shorten the line without changing equipment. Full length for searching and sniffing, half length along the road, or attached to the D-ring by the handle around your waist for hands-free use.

For recall and tracking

3.6 metres is a practical intermediate length. Your dog has freedom to head in another direction, while you have time to gather the line before it reaches the road. For tracking or recall at longer distances, we offer long training lines from 5 to 10 metres.

The honeycomb pattern provides grip even with wet hands and gloves. The line does not absorb water, so it weighs the same after an hour in sleet as it did in the car.

Pro clips at both ends

The aluminium screw-lock clip locks with a twist and does not open when your dog rolls over or the line catches on a branch. It is heavier than a trigger snap; that difference is most noticeable with large dogs that put real pressure on the line.

One item, ready to dispatch

Can the line be used hands-free?

Yes. Attach one clip to the D-ring by the handle and wear the line around your waist or over your shoulder. Together with the multifunctional belt, the pull is distributed across your hips.

Is 25 mm suitable for a medium-sized dog?

It works, but it is heavier-duty than a medium-sized dog needs. We mainly recommend 25 mm for large, strong dogs, and 16 mm for the rest.

How do I keep the line clean?

Rinse it under the tap and wipe with a cloth. Waterproof webbing handles both seawater and mud without damage.
